* Bookings are accepted
only on the understanding that the hirer
understands and accepts the terms and
conditions and payment of the fee signifies such
acceptance.
* These terms and conditions of use, and your use
of this website and/or the Service, shall be
governed by and construed in accordance with
English law and the English Courts shall have
exclusive jurisdiction in connection with all
matters relating thereto.
* For the purposes of
these terms and conditions, the person having made
the booking and or those people having booked and
paid for the services aka the customer or customers
are referred to here as the
hirer.
* Deluxe Private Hire aka Wellingborough Wedding
Cars is referred to as
the company.
* The 'event' refers to any booking either wedding, wedding related or private hire.
* Where damages or valeting is to be charged to the hirer on the part of the Jaguar cars, Guy Salmon of Northampton NN1 is the the only service agent acceptable to undertake any such works.
* Where damages or valeting is to be charged to the hirer on the part of the Bentley cars, Hillier Hill of Olney MK46 5EA is the the only service agent acceptable to undertake any such works.
* Your booking is only
regarded as confirmed and secured upon receipt of
cleared funds in full.
* The payment for your
booking must be paid, in full, within 5 working
days of the making of the booking.
* Payments of bookings for wedding cars
where the event takes place within a month of the
booking date will be charged £20 in addition
to the fee agreed. Private hire bookings must be paid immediately.
* The first 50% of any
payment for either a wedding car or cars or for private hire cars is non- refundable (at the discretion of Deluxe Private Hire) upon cancellation except where the time of cancellation is described below.
* Booking dates will be
over-written where a third party is able to make
payment for the said date and where you, the hirer,
have not made payment within the allowed dead-line.
* The company requires
immediate notification of cancellation or
postponement of the event.
* Should cancellation occur between 8-12 weeks of the event,
50% of the fee charged will be returned to the
hirer.
* Should cancellation occur between 12-16 weeks of the
event, then 75% of the fee will be returned to the
hirer.
* Should cancellation of
the event occur within 8 weeks of the event, or where a replacement booking cannot be arranged or where alternative bookings have been refused for the same date, full
payment will be retained by the company.
* Postponements, at the discretion of the company, may involve charges. Postponements where an alternative date is refused due to unavailability or where the hirer has requested a date which is unavailable will incur costs.
* All of our vehicles are
strictly non-smoking.
* Our vehicles are
maintained to the highest standard in an attempt to
make them as reliable as possible. However, in the
unforeseen event of an accident, breakdown,
puncture, traffic jam or severe weather conditions,
the company accepts no liability, nor
responsibility for the consequences or losses
incured of such occurrences. The company will
however undertake whatever measures are deemed
viable at the time of the incedent to complete the hiring where accomplishable
and which may, at the discretion of the company,
include providing alternative vehicle(s).
* Our cars are cleaned to
a high standard and will be checked over and
checked again shortly before arrival. However, the
company can accept no liability, nor responsibility
for clothing becoming dirtied or damaged whilst
entering or leaving the vehicle or whilst in
transit due to unforeseen circumstances. This is
particularly relevant during times of inclement
weather.
* The hirer will be
responsible for any damage caused to the interior
or exterior of vehicles owned by the company or
where alternative vehicles are aquired to cover
events and shall not be limited to damages caused
by the hirer, guests or couples to be (or having
been) married. A minimum charge of £100 will
be charged to cover valeting costs should soiling
be caused by any passenger through drink, food or
illness or soiling of any kind.
* Where children are to be transported, children must be controlled by the hirer or guardian(s). Damage caused by children by whatever means will be charged to the hirer at current Guy Salmon prices where the Jaguar cars are damaged or at current Hillier Hill prices where the Bentleys are damaged.
* The costs to cover repairs to damages will be governed by the repair centre. The repair centres for all repairs are as set at the top of this page and are not negotiable.
* The vehicles belonging to the company or hired as a replacement for the event are of executive class and passengers, whether the hirer or the hirer's guests or the couple to be (or having been) married are expected to observe this in their choice of dress. Clothing likely to cause damage or considered unsuitable by the chauffeur at the time of travel will not be allowed in the vehicle. The chauffeur reserves the right to protect the vehicle by refusing entry where compromise cannot be met.
* The chauffeur may
terminate the booking without notice and without
refund of funds if the client or passengers cause
excessive delays or become disorderly or
disrespectfull of either the chauffeur or the vehicle
and or in the chauffeurs judgement, are unfit to
travel. This is not negotiable and the chauffeur reserves the right to involve security forces at his/her discretion.
* All passengers are
requested to make sure that all belongings are
taken out of the cars. Valuables should not to left
in the vehicles. The company
will not be held responsible for any loss or damage
of personal items.
* Additional trips, alterations to the original booking while on-route will be
charged at £1.00 per KM and be paid in advance at the discretion of the chauffeur.
* If you change the date
of your wedding, you must notify us by telephone,
email or in writing. In the event of the hirer
changing the date of a booking, we will transfer
the booking fee to the new date provided we have
the availability to do so. However, if the new date
is unavailable the booking will be forfeited and
50% of the fee will be retained by the company.
* The company reserves
the right to amend or alter these terms and
conditions at any time and without prior notice.
These terms and conditions are not
negotiable.
